Blog comments Your Say

  • Michael I have just listened to your interview with that big cuddly bear Joe Hockey; undoubtedly one of the most likeable blokes in Parliament. This is the way Kevin Rudd used to be. These two men were mates, and we, my wife and I, used to wait for their appearance on the "Sunrise" show Friday mornings. Unfortunately both men took different paths. We all know what happened to K. Rudd - he turned into a person to be derided or scoffed at; The Big Teddy bear now covets being Treasurer of our Country. I believe the team of Abbott and Hockey will faithfully serve the people of Australia with much dignity, a word which cannot be associated with Rudd or any of those Members of the Labour Party who bought him down. Words I associate with those people I have used before, and do so now - political scum and swill. Michael, you mentioned at the end of the interview that the dates of the 7th. and 14th. August are being bandered about as possible dates when Gillard may call the Federal election. Bring it on; We the People - For the People Out here in the real world are particularly anxious to bring back some honesty, integrity and dignity to Parliament House in Canberra. I think we have seen enough of Socialism, now with a taste of Red Headed Communism.
