Jobs for the boys

General George Brandis SC recently called Mike Kaiser "a hardened young serial offender - premeditated, systematic, amoral, shameless, remorseless - educating and corrupting new generations of young Labor activists into the corrupt old culture".

Kaiser was a Labor MP in Queensland.

He’s kicked on a bit since his time as a vote-rorter.

He got a job-for-a-mate with the New South Wales Government as chief of staff to the Premier.

Then another job-for-a-mate with Anna Bligh as her chief of staff.

Now he’s been handed a $450,000 per annum job-for-a-mate with the Federal Labor Government’s non-business the National Broadband Network.

No ad.   No short-list.   A job for a mate.   On the personal recommendation of his mate the Federal Minister Senator Stephen Conroy.

The sad thing is it’s just so predictable.   So believable.   That’s the way it’s done for the mates.

  • JOBS FOR THE BOYS QLD STYLE:

'He wants to be a solicitor,' said the prison Matron, sucking on her cigarette holder as she looked around the prison administration office.

'O rea-eally?' said the Barrister, delighted and filed with glee.

    'Yes.'

'Send him to ME. I'll make sure he gets in.'

  • Mike Kaiser did the dirty work for the ALP and took
    the fall when others high
    up in that corrupt party
    should have.Since then it
has been one job for the boys
    after another.Now he gets a
    $450000 a year job from
    another Labor mate,this time
    the Federal Minister for
    Communications. No job
    advertisement,no short list,
    no other candidates.But then
this is the Labor Party so
    why should anyone be suprised
    at this latest scandalous
    case of corrupt nepotism?

  • Mike Kaiser and his activities have shown that the Labor Party will reward their "mates" for doing their dirty work. Where there is no standard any standard will do no matter how immoral or corrupt!
