Geez 4BC - is this Breakfast show the best you can do? While admittedly not a fan to start with, I've grown quite used to Jamie & Ian and I now enjoy their show but Chris & the woman from this morning (she's very serious)are really dull! Surely you can do better than this.

I am so fed up with this being all about this brat. I have been very hard pressed to find anything about Newtons victim in all of this. Why is it that this society concentrates so much on the poor instigator and doesnt give a tinkers cuss about the VICTIM. It's time to stop forgiving celebraties for their continual transgressions and treat them like the rest of us.

bigfella Tuesday 31 August, Question that also could be posed is how do you know what sort of parents Patti and Bert are you also would have no idea. I beleive from watching the interview that they are very concerned parents at the end of thier tether on what to do but they love their son but not his actions and recognise and illness. I do not however agree that Bert's career and reputation should be the focus that was a bit odd. Meg please also consider that a high percentage of physical abuse in relationships are by women on men. Neither is correct behaviour and nobody is condoning that least of all myself.

@Bigfellah, with your permission, I would like to add that I thank you sincerely for acknowledging my success at being a parent, even if it was "tongue in cheek". I've never been called a "model" parent before, but all I did was apply common sense, thats right, just a bit of good old common sense, not forgetting of course, if and when required, a good old fashioned smack on the arse. I shant relate to this subject again.....You have a good day now!!!
