JUST HEARD THIS INTERVIEW. WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH A RANGE OF PRODUCTS AND ALLOW PEOPLE CHOOSE WHAT THEY WANT, WHY RIP OUT THE COPPER, NAKED BROADBAND WORKS WELL, I HAVE WIRELESS HOME TELEPHONY FOR $35-00 MONTH I GET FREE CALLS UP TO $50 AS A PENSIONER THAT IS WAY CHEAPER THAN TELSTRA EVER PROVIDED EVEN WITH SUBSIDY. I ALSO HAVE WIRELESS BROADBAND IT WORKS WELL AND I USE SKYPE TO VIDEO CONFERENCE, WHAT ARE THESE IDIOTS TALKING ABOUT WITH AN NBN AT $43 BILLION,
sarah brunswick Monday 23 August, 2010 - 12:49 PM -
STUPID IDEA THERE ARE THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE WHO ARE CONNECTED TO NAKED BROAD BAND ALREADY WHICH OPERATES ON THE COPPER ALREADY EXISTING..

You might do well to talk to those of us who have fibre to their homes already.

Gillard never directly answers a question either. Abbott is honest to a fault, to his own determent.
"The deal was only struck with Telstra six or seven weeks ago" and then that has to be ratified by the shareholders.
How then can the Labor Party ask us to believe their promises. They way this NBN was being touted during the 07 campaign, it was all COSTED, FUNDED and ORGANISED. ~~ LIAR, LIAR ~ PANTS ON FIRE.
During the Kevin07 campaign the cost of the NBN was $4.3 BILLION (4,300 million dollars) then the costing when K.P.M.G. looked at it became $43 BILLION. Ten (10) times the election costs.
Now we are told that the Government is only going to put up $26 BILLION and the balance from private enterprise. Surprise, Surprise, Supriseâ?¦.
1. â??People have a choice of how much broadband speed they wantâ??
2. â??People have a choice about the service they want to take.â??
So the top speed is not available to all, just those who can pay for it!3. â??We have reached an agreement with Telstra for them to close down their copper networkâ??. TRUE ~ What you are not being told is that Telstra has agreed under duress, under the threat of being disbanded if they do not agree to support the NBN in this way.
3. â??We are building a wholesale monopoly, we said that from day one, that was the stated announcement.â??
~~ LIAR, LIAR ~ PANTS ON FIRE
Typical behaviour of this â??socialists / communist central controlâ?? Labor government, make it up as you go along every time a negative response swells up they change tack or just outright lie.
