Chinaustralia
Anna Bligh is urging the Treasurer Wayne Swan to allow the communist regime in China to buy our mines.
Anna, what are you on about?
Chinalco is owned by the Chinese Government. The Communist, unelected Chinese Government. The regime that rules by fear and through stamping out all opposition. Ask the Tibetans how they feel about the Communist Chinese Government.
Anna’s urging Wayne to allow this purchase by the same government that arranges the execution of prisoners to order for the transplanted human organ market.
The government that censors the internet and spies on its people.
Can you imagine the Communist Chinese Government approving a bid by the Australian Government for us to buy up Chinese strategic assets.
Chinalco wants to own part of Rio Tinto. Rio Tinto operates mines in Australia. It’s heavily in debt and it needs money. But surely to God with the Australian Government’s Future Fund, the Queensland Government’s considerable superannuation assets in the QIC, the billions of other Australian savings in industry and other superannuation funds – surely we can find a way to keep our Australian assets in Australian hands.
There’s an old bush cockie’s saying – sell the milk, not the cow. It’s taken generations for us to build up our wealth. Now we have profligate spenders and lousy economic managers in power in Canberra and George Street who are driving us deeply into debt. Don’t they understand? A country gets rich through using productive assets – like its minerals and mines – to create jobs and wealth. Why on earth would we sell that productive capacity, particularly at depressed prices, to a foreign, communist government with such an appalling track record.

Michael Smith,
I'm sorry Smithy AND I know that you will not publish this but I have to get what I am stinking with regard to the buy out of Rio Tinto by Chinalco OFF OF MY CHEST. Any other Leader in the Western World would think of this action as one of Treason. But not our "I can speak Chinese" Prime Minister, Mr. Krudd - you know the one I mean, he who has had a huge money debt (the Kev) named after him. This pathetic little individual who has trouble putting words together when addressing Parliament - have you noticed his tongue become tired and twisted - the one who acts like a crawling mongrel dog when the words China or Chinese are mentioned in Government Circles. At Krudds insistence, the man from SWANney River will hasten to his leaders advice and push it through Cabinet. Then will come the big spiel, the spin, and if we are lucky we may even get to see the greatest "Spin Doctor" of them all, Mr. P. Beattie, come back to our beloved Australia, and be promoted to "Kevs" oriface to do what he does best, lie to the people. AND THEN THERE WAS ANNA!!!!!!Only one more sleep.Phil - Springwood Friday 20 March, 2009 - 9:23 AM -
I want to know why the other media outlets aren't reporting on this! You'd think it would be a major story leading up to the election.

Thank god there is an election this weekend but who ever gets in we must all remain as a strong voice along with this radio station to make sure things like this don't happen. i worry though we the general public are never consulted, these governments forget they work for us.

How dare Anna encourage to sell our livelyhood to communistic China. Has KR been in her ear?
From The Daily Reckoning I quote:
Centrex Metals (SA) sold 50% interest in 2 Magnetite deposits to china's 3rd largest steelmaker Wuhan.
Mt.gibson Iron brokered a share placement to 2 major Chinese interests, wo took a stake of 40%!
Gindalbie Metals was given a 162 million boost from AnSteel; China's 2nd largest steelmaker.
China has the big picture in mind. It is on the prowl for Aussie hard assets while they are cheap! End of quote.
Instead our junior miners should be supported, as the Banks will not.
Also a Medical Innovation Company in Brisbane called Ventracor, who has spend millions on research and finally got a patent approval here & in the USA for their Heart pump and saved over 100 patients here, in Europe and the USA, who were "on their last legs" so to say. They are only financial for another few months and then all the hard work of docters, nurses and staff will go to an "Insolvency Agent".
What happened to "The Smart State"?
It got lost somewhere through Labor polcies & Greed.

do you think saudi arabia would let an australia company to just waltz in to their country and start extracting their oil. I don't think so.

Why would Anna Bligh do this?
It just doesnt make sense....generations of Australians to come will pay for this stupidity...Anna Bligh has got this wrong...very wrong.
No wonder QLD is in such a financial mess if this is the sort of logic she has been applying to our economy.
