Anna Bligh and the CMC
Michael Smith editorial – Allegations of Queensland Premier Anna Bligh has perhaps misled State Parliament over the reappointment of police commissioner Bob Atkinson, by claiming the CMC chairman was consulted. Listen and comment now.

Jennifer, i dare say that it wouod be easier for the Premier to remove the Govenor under the current system than the opposite occuring.
Over a very long period of time both State and Federal Governments have virtually side-lined the Constitution in regards to the forming of and ruled governing Government.
I can assure you that the current party system exists only for the benifit of and the perpetuation of the politcal parties that dominate the politcal fabric of Australia.
We will only have justice and democracy when we take it for outselves it would appear>

I have mentioned previously how in a human rights court complaint about severe school bullying and education discrimination, my son was repeatedly denied legal youth advocacy like other children. And our courtroom audio tapes and transcripts were repeatedly severely edited to deny us the evidence of the abuse and apprehended bias. The CMC refused to investigate my documented and corroborated judicial corruption allegations.
My own local Labor MP, John Mickel the Speaker of Parliament has consistently denied us electoral representation. That is why I approached the Independent Member for Kingaroy, Dorothy Pratt, who agreed to sponsor my e-petition on the Queensland Parliaments website. I am grateful Mrs Pratt was willing to sponsor my petition even though I live a long way from Kingaroy. It is a relief there is even an Independent MP to turn to.
I have always been a strong believer of the need for independent politicians and representatives of the people, from the people and by the people, instead of party politicians, who toe the party line and put the interests of constituents last.People concerned about these issues can view and sign my e-petition online at the following link:

@Crimson - Since when has red tape ever stopped a diplomat, politician, governor or public servant from doing what is right and act in the national interest? Governor Wensley is unfortunately only protecting her job, family interests (her brother is one of the four judges named in my judicial abuse and corruption complaint) and the Bligh Labor government, which appointed her.
Despite being the Queens representative in Queensland, she has never acknowledged my correspondence or phone calls and pretends we simply do not exist and that is unregal, unprincipled and highly unethical, no matter which way you look at it! As Governor she also has âÂÂspecial reserve powersâ and no one can stop her from saying or doing what she wants to as she goes about her official life, which one journalist has correctly described as a whirl of inconsequential piffle. Keeping Ms Wensley at Government House to NOT represent us and to NOT look after the best interests of the people of this state costs taxpayers a staggering $ 4 Million dollars every year. That is NOT democracy! That is an unaccountable and anti civic juristocracy as I explained in my citizen journalist articles. And where there is a will there is a way and always has been and always will be!

Darryl, there is little constitutional power held by the Govenor, there would have to be a vote of no confidence in the parliament i believe before a dismisal could take place or a petition directly to the Govenor containing a significantly large number of signatures in order for her to act, most likely by disolving parliament and calling an election. An election the Labor Party would win thanks to there not being another party worth voting for in Queensland.

Darryl Monday 21 June, 2010 - 2:02 PM Governor Penelope Wensley, who was Anna Blighs personal choice for Governor of Queensland has an enormous and insurmountable personal conflict of interest and that is why she will not rock the boat and will not step in!

When will the Qld Govenor step in and dismiss the poor excuse for a government?. The Govenor represents the Queen and I am sure Her Majesty does not wish to be associated with people who pass laws making it basically legal to lie in parliament. This Qld Government is so arrogent that they think that they can do what ever they want and we will just accept it. Well, I've got news for you Anna and it's ALL bad because not only do a majority of Queenslanders see through you and your government but they are also sick and tired of being lied too and charged the earth for the privilige of being lied too. Take for example the excuse for power increases 'Due to the projected population growth', well what is wrong with charging people a surcharge who decide to live here because they should be making a contribution to upgrading the network as we have already paid to put the network in originally.
