  • Michael, dont get this wrong as i think the pay deal for the police stinks. however as for a third of the force having to work an extra job lets not lose sight that probably half of all workers in Qld earn less than the wages of a first year cop and do not have to work a second job or get the oppurtunityof paid overtime

On boat people, although I don't want them here as much as the next person we only get about .3% of them for each year and they are never going to stop coming if they are going to die in their country.     I'd like you to know that my family is immensely proud of the dedication,professionalism and efforts our servicemen and women are displaying to make a difference in the lives of others in such a hell of place.

    They have our complete support, admiration and respect.

    We thank them all for so unselfishly placing themselves in harms way for us.

  • The negotiated pay rise for our brave Members of the Police Force, is an insult to each and every serving Member and their families. More than any Public Servant, these men and women, have earned the respect and love of all of us. Every Queenslander. There was a time when sheer guts, determination and the love for a job was rewarded by the peoples' representatives, Government. Not so in this instance, this rotten, corrupt, incompetent mob have rewarded our men and women with a pittance. As an ex Member, I know only too well whats its like to be one of this elite group and truly serve the People. First the Nurses, now the "Coppers". I'm tipping the Firies to be next, then any other group in their jobs for sheer love of serving the people. The more this "Blight" on our State shows her true colours, opens her mouth spieling forth spin, the more "we the people - for the people" are determined to expel her and this corrupt Government from Political History. Another of the hairy armpitted group with Membership in the Union backed Socialist/Communist Politburo. I spit on them all, they are unfit to govern; Their treatment of our Police Force only shows the contempt this Government holds for Law and Order in this State. C'mon Queenslanders, lets get behind them with our full support.
