  • Hey Kevin! While your there explain why your selling out Australian Democracy with the Copenhagen document your going to sign in December. These lines from the treaty should jog your memory....
The scheme for the new institutional arrangement under the Convention will be based on three
basic pillars: government; facilitative mechanism; and financial mechanism, and the basic organization
of which will include the following:
    (a) The government will be ruled by the COP with the support of a new subsidiary body on
adaptation, and of an Executive Board responsible for the management of the new funds
and the related facilitative processes and bodies. The current Convention secretariat will
    operate as such, as appropriate.

    (b) The Convention’s financial mechanism will include a multilateral climate change fund
including five windows: (a) an Adaptation window, (b) a Compensation window, to
address loss and damage from climate change impacts, including insurance,
rehabilitation and compensatory components, (c) a Technology window; (d) a Mitigation
window; and (e) a REDD window, to support a multi-phases process for positive forest
    incentives relating to REDD actions.
    (c) The Convention’s facilitative mechanism will include: (a) work programmes for
    adaptation and mitigation; (b) a long-term REDD process; (c) a short-term technology
action plan; (d) an expert group on adaptation established by the subsidiary body on
adaptation, and expert groups on mitigation, technologies and on monitoring, reporting
and verification; and (e) an international registry for the monitoring, reporting and
verification of compliance of emission reduction commitments, and the transfer of
technical and financial resources from developed countries to developing countries. The
secretariat will provide technical and administrative support, including a new centre for
    information exchange.

  • Rudd is a Globalist. His world view is one that reflects Marxism rather than solid Christian values. He has an agenda to create world Government and i bet ya two bob he wants to be the head of the Government.Climate change is the lie that the Globalist's are using to perpetuate the New World Order.

  • Greg, I listened to Mr Rudd on your show this morning.I was pleased that you treat him with the respect with which a PM should be treated. It is a shame that Mr Rudd did not give you the same respect. His disdain and contempt for your questions was clear. His ability to NOT answer questions was clear,as was his ability to put a political spin onto any subject, his simplistic answer on climate change was embarrassing to say the least. He appears unable to grasp the science and more worrying unable to be honest with the average working family. As yet he has NOT informed us exactly how much (weekly) his ets Carbon tax will cost us and also exactly how much we will be paying annually in fees towards the copenhagen agreement and fines if we do not meet the targets, these could be from $5 BILLION a year.Just last week even Al Gore admitted that man made carbons contribution to climate change had been overstated by 40%.Mr Rudd is hiding us from this as after the next election he will be moving on to his aussie taxpayer funded UN seat. This copenhagen agreement is a dressed up kyoto agreement and why do you think numerous nations would NOT sign it.
Finally, the illegal boat people, the push factors Mr Rudd hides behind are only relevant if you are a neighbouring country ,ie,African nation or the problems europe is having, these push factors have little if any effect on our situation with people travelling thousands of miles to get here.If he reversed his policies and admitted he was wrong (which appears beyond him) it would send a clear message, get in the official queue with everyone else.
