It's just another flu
Since day one I’ve said the swine flu pandemic was a monumental beat up. In my opinion it is being used to create fear.
The thing to remember is this - It’s just another flu... we will have a vaccine soon.
Each year around the world on average over 1 billion people get Influenza A - the common flu, of which 500,000 thousand die. Human swine flu has 12,515 cases worldwide, global deaths so far 91.
Take a listen to my thoughts here. Flu Editorial
Do you agree? Disagree? Let me know.

HELLO GREG.
YES I FULLY AGREE WITH YOU, DOWN HERE IN MELBOURNE THEY ARE FRIGHTENING PEOPLE LIKE YOU WOULDN'T BELIEVE. WE HAVE FLU HERE IN AUSTRALIA EVERY YEAR AND COMMON SENSE PREVAILS WHEN IT COMES TO LOOKING AFTER YOURSELF, AND BEING CONCIOUS ABOUT NOT SNEEZING AND COUGHING OVER OTHER CITIZENS.IF YOU WORRIED OVER EVERY SINGLE THING THAT WE ARE TOLD ARE GOING TO HARM US, LIFE WOULD BE AN UNHAPPY JOURNEY.REGARDS

The problem with Swine Flu is that, as more people are infected , the greater the chance it will mutate to a strain which we have no immunity against. I was under the impression that this flu is the same one which mutated after the 1st World War and killed 19 million people worldwide.

I agree wholeheartedly!
I live in Sydney. And for the life of me I cannot believe the paranoia that is occurring among certain parents.
I feel like saying... "get Real... & get a life"
It's just another flu strain, like all the other ones we've had year in year out! Some die some don't...!
I hope the media starts beating up the facts to the public and plainly tell them to CHILLAX!
Thanks again.

Hi Greg
I couldn't agree with you more on this 'flu issue. 'Flu of one sort or another arrives every year and and there is always a greta hue an cry about the need for vaccines and how lats year's vaccine won't work on this new strain.
This begs the question of course if you are in the least bit cynical like me...
which Pharmaceutical Company invented this strain ??? Think about it ?There is another point of course, if this is serving as a distraction what elese is going on that we are not bei g told about.
Keep up the good work and question everything tis lot do.
Cheers
