It seems you think the whole thing was a series of conspiracies managed by master director J Gillard to spoil Abbott's day. As she had been organising this event in honour of the Emergency workers who came to the fore during the floods and fires, I hardly think she would go all out to wreck it.
I don't think Mr Abbott will be getting another invitation to a PM event.
