fitting insulation

The Prime Minister is set to defy calls to front a Senate probe into the botched home insulation program, labelling it nothing more an Opposition "stunt". Michael Smith talks with Greg Hunt about the PM's inaction.

  • Three specific warnings were
given to Rudd and Garret from
private and government scources about the risks in the insulation rollout. These
came before the deaths and the fires. Now Garret says he never saw them.He is either
    a liar or a dangersouly
    incompetent excuse for a
    minister who should be sacked
    immediately.What did Rudd
know and when he know it.If
it can be proved that he knew
    of the warnings and ignored
them he should resign as PM
    immediately. The only bad
thing to come from that would be Julia Gillard in the
    Lodge.Her performance with
the BER disaster is just as
    bad as Garrets.

  • kevin rudd is responsible because it was his scheme with no checks &balances. just as with the great money handout rushed with no proper plan with the motivation to buy votes careless about the consequenses

  • So Kevin Rudd wont face a
    Senate inquiry into the
    insulation debacle.Does that
    mean that Peter Garret will
do the same? Has our great
    PM forgotten how many times
Labor and Green senators forced Senate inquiries into
    far less important matters
so they could do as much
    damage as possible to the
    Howard government.Four people
    are dead,houses burnt down,
    and thousands more australian
    famililies living with the
    same threat.No one knows
when or how it will be fixed
or how much it will cost.
    There are serious questions
    to be answered Mr Rudd.THe
australian people have a right to know the truth

  • If past actions are predictors of future actions, as the pressure amounts upon Rudd one cannot help thinking that they can smell the shredders in the back room warming up. As with the Hiener affair he will cover his tracks.
