Premier Bligh calls election

4BC News: Premier Bligh has addressed the state this morning, claiming the flood reports require an extension and has caused implications to the Queensland election dates. The Premier has called the Queensland election for 24th March with local elections likely to be in April.

Who will get your vote vote? The Managing Director of Campaigns and Communications, and Labor Party Campaign Adviser for State and Federal Elections, Bruce Hawker, talks to Greg Cary about Bligh calling the election.

Redland City Council Mayoral Candidate Karen Williams joins Gary to discuss the Premier’s election call for March 24 and the impact it will have on local government election campaigns.
