Peter Beattie on Patel
Peter Beattie, former Queensland premier, talks to Greg Cary about the fact that the buck stops with him, when it comes to the case of Dr Patel. Taking responsibility of multiple system failures, Peter admits that he sees the whole case as a black mark on his premiership.

Peter, you are quick to say the buck stops with you and you take full responsibility. Well Peter you let the Queensland people especially those of Bunderberg down. Give back the money you were paid by the people of Queensland.Donate your Super to those who suffered at the hands of Dr Patel, and your incompetence means you can never hold public office again or receive a cent of taxpayers money. Guess I won't hold my breath. Just stop the hollow spin and rhetoric it is an isult to queenslanders.

How disappointing to see the Master Spin Doctor, Peter Beattie, back in Queensland wringing his hands. I hate paying taxes but my exception would be to pay increased State taxes to keep him in an overseas posting. How about the Republic of Kazakhstan?

So he's back.
Heard a rumour that he had been sacked from his "lurk" job over some very serious accusation concerning his behaviour. Not surprised.
This creep, who is one of the new breed of Labour politicians who practice the art of spin to such perfection that he can sit there, smile his big rabbit smile and LIE to you while looking you in the eye.
Lower than sharks excreta.
And Pete.
I've thought about it endlessly since reading that you see the Patel case as a black mark on your premiership.
To be honest Pete mate. I can't think of a single solitary white mark in your whole stinking career, and I think we are about to have publicised, something that should put you in the can. The boys in there will look after you, old mate.Wobblyone Thursday 1 July, 2010 - 1:20 PM
