No more tea & biscuits for public servants

The announcement by the State Government that public servants will no longer be supplied complementary tea and coffee at work has caused wide-spread debate.

Secretary of workers union Together Alex Scott joins Gary Hardgrave to express his disappointment at what a he describes as petty penny-pinching.

State Treasurer Tim Nicholls also joins Gary to weigh in on the debate, while also explaining the breaking news of an increase in compulsory third party insurance.

  • I worked for the Qld Police for almost 10 years and never had tea or coffee or biscuits supplied. Always had to bring my own..then they always got stolen at work.

  • Methinks public servants will have a lot more to worry about than tea and biccies. Cando the Cutter will shortly be sharpening the razor and cutting a swathe through the lads and ladies. Much pain is in store for Queensland. Plenty of jobs in NT.
