Pisasale

4BC Drive: Ipswich mayor Paul Pisasale said yesterday the council would seek financial compensation for damage caused by floodwater if Wivenhoe Dam's managers are proven negligent during the 2011 flood.  Gary Hardgrave talked to Cr Pisasle who foresees a class action from the city to recoup the massive monetary loss.

Blog comments Your Say

  • Dick, no wonder they took off and you tried to tell us it was the big wet that they were afraid of.

  • What makes you think I said that, come on tell me truthfully when did I say or suggest anything like that Jamesw?

  • Yes I watched parliament yesterday and enjoyed the temper tantrum from both Julia and Kevin when confronted with the hard questions.
Yes Punch and Judy really entertained the crowds.
Shouting doesn't make the point any more valid though.
Ol' mate Kevin , even started slamming his hand on the desk in time with his speech.
    Very amusing stuff.
Gotta love the Left wing loonies. Seems aggresion is the best discourse.
I have to admit that I turned the sound down a bit when Julia was speaking as I thought I was listeneing to a Kath and Kim rerun.
    Ploise, woiking families.
    give me a break.

  • @Roger,
No I used Ant powder , flyspray and motor spirit.
I dug up two nests and still the little buggers wanted to invade my home.
I have them under control now.
    Thanks for your concern.
In hindsight Roger, the ants were right. Hey?
RE- My post before Christmas where my ants were getting ready for the predicted big wet. The premier and the dam opertars chose to put their heads between their legs and prey to the rain gods.
In hindsight , this was not good stategy.

  • mick, are you suggesting that Bligh will be leading the next Qld Parliament? A brave call.

I think Can Do will be at the helm myself.

  • Dear Richard

Why WAS Cando talking with the Roma locals 12 months ago?

Nice switch from State politics to Fed politics to bring up the Pink Batts (I'm happy with mine) School Halls (Nothing better to spend money on than Education) NBN (Australia will be dragged into the future despite Dr No).

Did you see parliament yesterday? Young Julia truly wiped the floor with the struggling opposition who don't appear to have an intelligent thought between them.
