Couldn't you tell what was going on when Bob Katter went early with his annoucement? I thought you 4LNP, sorry lol, I mean 4BC listners were smarter than that.
I have no problem that these 3 have taken this long to decide as the AEC haven't even called the Election yet, still got a 1m votes to count.
I believe we will all win, having Govt that's on notice that if it slip's up their out, if only we had that situation in Qld.James Weir Tuesday 7 September, 2010 - 4:20 PM -
The three INDEPENDENTS (take a close look) are going to go with Labor. The have been keeping us in limbo while they look for reasons to do just that. That which they intended to do all along. Wikipedia tells it all.
Then this morning it is revelled that Katter was in Ruddâ??s office when Gillard gave him the shive. Oakeshott has been having ~ parliamentary procedure ~ talks with Mr Britton (an old ALP strategist). And as for Wilkie, it has been revelled this morning on the Insiders that Wilkie actually asked the Liberals for the $1,000,000,000-00 for the hospital, then when the Liberals said alright, we can accommodate that Wilkie then went and held a press conference, and for all the world gave the distinct impression that the Liberals had just of their own volition upped-the-anti, so to speak, and he Wilkie the very principled person that he was, could not accept such a over-the-top offer as he did not believe the Liberals costing.
Any wonder tony Abbott has got a bit testy, wouldn't you, if you realised you had been had by the INDEPENDENTS into revelling all your policy costing (it was the INDEPENDENTS who released the Coalition policy costing to the media).
Firstly they said they would wait for the final numbers before making a decision. Well the numbers are out. The Coalition has the majority of the two party preferred with a national swing of 2.7%, the Coalition has the majority of the 1st preference votes by some 700,000 plus, the Coalition has the majority of the Federal MP seats, without any deals with independents or minor parties 73 to 72.
All the abovementioned stats support the statement that Labor lost the election.

This election is leaving me sick in the stomach.
I wouldn't be too proud of your achievements Julia.
It just truly shows the cut of your jib girl.
Bribes, lies and corruption.
Gunna make a great movie some day.

Wilkie's in a Labor seat in Labor State and he's sided with Labor, and some people are surprised lol.
If the REDS get up there might be more help my be forthcoming for Australia's problem gamblers, of which, Tony Abbott must now qualify as one of our biggest. Wish I could afford a $1Bn punt.James Weir Friday 3 September, 2010 - 10:01 AM
