Nev calls from Joyner – wet a Panadol tablet – rub it on the bite – works on all bites

  • I have tried everything including antihistamines creams and neem seed oil (tho' not vinegar & hot water). The only thing that has worked for me is the dark red Tiger Balm. The last series of nasty welts subsided much more quickly than many previous bouts and I wasn't driven crazy by the insane itch (and pain when scratched ferociously), although with the latest bite on my wrist it is hard to not get it in my food, my eyes etc

  • I think the new line up is just great. Hopefully we will now have unbiased political talk back radio as talk back radio should be. I turned off mornings, mid mornings and the afternoon drive programmes on 4bc after being a long time listener because of the obvious one sided Hosts. We'll done finally 4BC.

  • I've always grabbed a ventolin puffer and sprayed a few times directly on to bite. Pain always goes away. Sometimes have to do it again.

  • I was bitten on the toes by a couple of green ants this morning , while beside myself with pain I tried teatree oil, lavender oil, vinegar, toothpaste and my alovera plant. My hubby suggested I soak my foot in vinegar and hot water , while painful doing this . BINGO! the pain has now gone.
