Nev calls from Joyner – wet a Panadol tablet – rub it on the bite – works on all bites

John calls from Bundaberg – Andro works to eradicate ants in your yard (they use it on footy fields all the time)

Mick calls from Burpengary – Stingoes works for bites and stings

I have both my arms some of my neck and body covered in tattoos and I would prefer to me tattood on my ..... you know where there get biten by a green ant .. WOW! Its insane how painfull they are, it hurts so much I cant help but laugh shaking my head swearing lol

i was bite on the ball of my foot around 14 weeks in oz i felt it but never saw nothing. the ankle swelled up for around 8 days but i never went to the doctors. any idea what might have caused iti still have a small amount of pain now??

A jug of boiling water poured down their holes eradicates them from the area for at least a year. You can spot holes by the earth they put around them particularly after rain.

I am also allergic to green ant bites; it is difficult to believe that such a small ant (compared to a bull-ant) can inflict so pain. But I'm not sure which is worse, the bite or the uncontrollable itchings a few days afterward.
I guess its the healing that causes the itch.
Anyway have suggestions to counteract the itching?

I am also allergic to green ant bites so have to carry 'Epi Pen' with me at all times. I was bitten this morning and although I didnt go into an allergic reaction my foot is so painful. Have tried vegemite, vinegar, tea tree oil, panadol etc nothing eased it so tried 'witch hazel' to try and soothe it and yes it worked. Very soothing.
