Gran

Stressed grannies and grandpas are looking for some rights and benefits when it comes to raising their grandchildren. There are a significant number of grandparents still working or re-entering the workforce, and these people will especially benefit from additional support. Greg Cary talks to Tracey Douglas, Queensland Council of Grandparents, about the issue.

  • I would dearly love to be able to look after my grandchildren goodness they are family I feel that is what life is all about to be able to help them grow with many memories of their grandparents is a beautiful thing we do have a life of our own it may take a little organizing but we have a voice not to be taken for granted i never got paid to rare my 3 sons so why to help with my grand littles have to be a cost as long as i get a hug my family would be complete.
