Mick, Chiropractic is an accepted allied health discipline the world over, with scientifically proven effectiveness in alleviating musculoskeletal pain as documented in a variety of peer reviewed journals. This is not in question here. Loretta the sceptic herself accepts this as fact.
My question remains. Why, if Melissa and Loretta accept that chiropractic can help in these cases (which Loretta accepts they can), why is the same effect denied by them when it comes to helping children?John of Caloundra Thursday 19 January, 2012 - 9:14 AM -
@mellisa D we all know of course that nothing that JOC squirts out is intellligent, that is why he is so pleased to have someone to talk to. I agree however on your thoughts regarding chiropractors. Of course Sheldon of Coloundra believes in chiropractors like he believes in CO2 tax and climate change etc. Why does he ask "why we do not believe in chiropractors" but he will never say why he does, why do you believe in chiropractors JOC?

I agree with the part I highlighted in my previous email of the 17th Jan, these were the truest words in reference to yourself. The rest of the topic I do not care about.

Melissa D, as to chiropractors not being able to "straighten babies spines":- why cant they? And why can't they treat the sprains and strains babies may have?
At what age can they, as far as youre concerned?John of Caloundra Wednesday 18 January, 2012 - 10:00 AM -
Melissa, finally someone intellligently debating the topic. Great.
Yes, everything in moderation. But certainly the processed "white" rice is not in any way imparting the health effects of its brown counterpart.
You'll find the nutritionist was talking less about colours of the flesh of fruit and more about the processed foods such as white sugar, bread, rice and such that are doing damage to our health. Mental health is important and perhaps the odd tipple will get one through the treatment process but mocking a health practitioner for advising against consumption of alcohol is just as stupid as mocking one advising against the occasional smoke as it calms the nerves.John of Caloundra Wednesday 18 January, 2012 - 9:53 AM -
So you agree with my assessment of the topic at hand?
