Exactly the reason Bob Katter is going to gain more seats than the ALP at the next election.
He has vowed to not distribute his preferences to either party.
People will vote for him because they can be sure that their vote won't be sold for apersonal political favour

Cry, you have the option to place preferences as you wish on your voting card, just as you can opt to vote 1 only or to spoil the card altogether.

It is not a true 2PP as we have this vote 1 only crap going on, it does not show the true will of the people, secondly when Joh was in power in QLD and we had true preferential voting, the ALP always complained that he got in on the Liberals preferences.
