4BC Summer Mornings: John Scott is joined by Charles Burke, CEO of AgForce, talking about a suggestion by animal rights groups that farmers should face criminal charges if they lose stock to floods, bushfires and drought.

  • These people obviously are ignorant of the might of Mother Nature! Farmers are devasted when any farm animal suffers in any way let alone a large number due to a natural disaster. The last thing they need are ignorant do-gooders who have no idea what others are trying to deal with adding to their misery. The ordinary farmer has it so tough...leave them alone!

  • Animal rights groups go a little far sometimes. I face a daily battle with a partner who believes that horse racing is bad, bad, bad.
Luckily I can shower her with money from my winnings, I shall win her over. Betya.

  • It will be nice following the election when these fools are just ignored for the idiots they truly are, wasting time and resources with their inner city garbage.
