I don't particularly think Johns is a racist. But I do think he is a boofhead, intellectually challenged, and a grub and the game would be better off without him. He has form - confessing to taking ILLEGAL drugs all his career. His comments seemed as much a slight on the footballing ability of these blokes as anything, and it sure came back to bite them on the bum in the game last night! While I do think Tahu was being a little precious, Johns gets big money to work in a professional arena and should know better. He's flat out stringing 2 words together on the Footy Shows or in commentary, and I just wonder why they insist on keeping him up there in the public eye. How can anyone respect him?

Andrew Johns comments were said in private over beers until Tahu decided to grandstand. If you think us WHITEFELLERS don't get a mention tune in to your local indigenous radio channel and listen to Black is Black, very enlightening!Racism is a two way street.

The term black people usually refers to a racial group of humans with skin colors that range from light brown to nearly black.
It is also used to categorize a number of diverse populations together based on historical and prehistorical ancestral relationships.
Ref: Wikipedia.According to evolution, all people decended from dark skin ancestors.
Mutations over time caused the pigment to slowly fade which eventually led to numerous medical conditions. There is nothing wrong with calling a paticular race black or white.
I would say that the more offensive word that he used was the "C" word.

If Andrew Johns had preceded the c word, with Pommy, Redheaded, Short, White, Chow, or any of the vast amount of terms used in locker room/Pub jargon since time began, do you think the same level of excitement would occur. Does anyone really think Andrew Johns is a racist? The real racism in this country which occured in the 50's 60's and 70's, was defeated by humourous retorts from those who were the victims of the original abuse. Look how well it worked. Our Greek, Italian, English, European and Asian immigrants, are now firmly entrenched as Australians and never suffer abuse any longer. The immigrant abuse today is focussed on Muslims and they will also defeat it in time as they assimilate into this country. It is just life and all this activity actually fuels racism against indigenous or Muslim people. No one is allowed to say that or even suggest such a thing in such a politically correct society, but get it through your heads, this is not a racist country, and this kind of mockery is really endrearment locker room/ Pub style.
