Assault at Nathan
Police have released a comfit of a man who may be able to assist with inquiries in relation to the assault of a woman at Nathan last night.

Around 8.50pm the woman was walking through the Griffith University, Nathan campus, heading towards Kessells Road when she noticed a man running along the path behind her.
The man approached the woman and grabbed her from behind. She struggled and managed to escape the man’s grip before he grabbed her again.
The man threatened the woman and pushed her to the ground and held her down before threatening her with what appeared to be a firearm.
The woman continued to struggle against her attacker when a car pulled into a nearby car park and the man ran off.
The woman was taken to the QEII hospital for treatment.
The man is described as between 40 and 50 years old with an Australian accent and was wearing a black hooded jumper and had part of his face covered.
