- Julie Anthony will be performing in concert on Friday 28th November at the Broncos Leagues Club, Fulcher Road, Red Hill @ 6.30pm.  Tickets are available from the club by phoning 3858 9002
 
- An Art Show by Members of the Artists Guild of Australia will be held at Toombul Centro from Monday 24th November to Sunday 30th November.  The show will feature original oil, watercolour, acrylics and pastel paintings, in traditional and contemporary styles.  All work is available for sale direct to the public.
 
- The Sherwood Community Street Festival is on Friday night 28th November from 5.30pm to 9.30pm in the Sherwood Shopping precinct in Sherwood Road.
 
- The Endeavour Foundation Ipswich Business Service is holding a Monster Car Boot Sale on Saturday 29th November at 83 Oxford Street, North Booval from 10am to 5pm.

- A Christmas Shopping fair to raise funds for needy communities will be held at the Southgate Community Church at Mackenzie on Saturday 29th November from 2pm
 
- RSPCA Qld Santa Paws will be at Marchant Park at Chermside on Saturday 29th November from 9am to 1pm
 
- Carols @ Multicap will be held from 6pm to 8pm on Saturday 29th November at 303 Padstow Road, Eight Mile Plains.
 
- The Redcliffe Stamp Club will be holding its annual Stamp Bonanza on Saturday 29th November starting at 9am in the C W A  Hall, Prince Edward Parade, Redcliffe.  Attractions include visiting Stamp Club with their exchange books, stamp dealer and raffle prizes.  A sale by tender in the afternoon, as well as free stamp appraisals.  
 
- Gumdale & Districts Progress Association will be holding their ‘Carols In The Park’ on Sunday 7th December at Wakerley Park, Dianthus Street at Wakerley.  It starts at 4pm with live entertainment, 4.15 Sheep shearing display, 5pm kids entertainment with Nicky Noo and carols start at 6pm followed by a fireworks finale
 
- The Queensland Spinners, Weavers & Fibre Artists Christmas fair is on Saturday 29th November at Fibrecraft House, 12 Payne Street, Auchenflower from 9am to 2pm

- It’s Santa  Sunday Steam Train at the on Sunday 30th November at the  Workshops Rail Museum, North Street, North Ipswich from 9.30am to 5pm.  Includes a one and a half hour steam train journey around south east Queensland country, departing from The Workshops Rail Museum platform.
